Saturday as the flood waters rose calls were going out for help. Help was needed mainly with sandbagging. Coach Fulton got one of those calls. He and Coach Short got permission to use a bus and every NCHS football player that they could reach answered the call for help. They went to a few locations and helped with sandbagging and whatever else was needed. I guess you should expect it, when help is needed-you go (or at least that is what you should do), but these are just kids, it was Saturday night and I am sure they had much better things to do. They went and did not complain, it's just what you do. Aren't you proud to live here?

That is fantastic. Those boys must have a lot of respect for their town as well as their coaches! I will be in Newton tomorrow to see the waters myself. Great pics Sarah.
