As the waters rise in Jasper County and other places, say a prayer for your neighbor (and we are ALL neighbors) and a prayer for those who are out trying to help others save their homes and places of business.
I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
GENESIS 9:11

Sarah...Is that a picture of town? I haven't talked to my parents in about a week. I had no idea it was that bad at home. I did watch the news this weekend and they showed all the rain Indiana was getting...
You are so right!
It seems a little scary right now, but I am trusting in Jesus and all will be right.
Did you learn that as VBS?
Very true, we are very lucky to live in a small town where your neighbors will still come to help a person in need.
Tracie-that is north of town heading into the river bottoms. I have more pics that I will post soon. I took those Saturday early afternoon and it got higher after that.
I would assume your Dad has been putting in a lot of hours along with the rest of the city workers.
I have heard a lot of people say this is the worst they have ever seen it.
Yes, I did call home this morning and Dad had already left for work...ON A SUNDAY. Not sure what he is doing exactly.
I can remember a time - ONCE - when it was flooded just outside of town...between the river and the Finn's. But never this bad!!
I will be looking for more pics from you.
Tracie, yesterday the water was all the way up in the Finn's yard, seriously almost to their house. you couldn't see their driveway!
