Bunny Bunny

Jack has never had any sort of lovey or snuggly as we like to call them. No blankie, no stuffed animal, nothing. I think he has always used me as his snuggly. Like most kids he had somehow acquired a fairly large collection of stuffed animals. I put all of them away except for three. One of them was a bunny that Grandma Ruby Allen (Emily's Grandma) gave him on his first Easter. Out of the blue on Monday Jack started playing with the bunny. He said it's name was Bunny Bunny (imaginative huh?). During the course of the day Bunny Bunny needed to go to the bathroom numerous times. I did not have a problem with that until I realized that Bunny Bunny was getting his bunny bottom put into the toilet by Jack. Jack would also then wash Bunny Bunny's bottom off in the bathroom sink. At least he was trying to be somewhat hygenic.

After all the bathroom trips Bunny Bunny needed some time in the swing.

Does your child have a special "snuggly"?

Madelyn has a blankie that she goes NO WHERE without!!! IT is super soft...but kinda getting a little ragged already from all of the washing.

Parker might be a little embarrased by me sharing this but he has a stuffed puppy dog (A Gund) that my mom got him when he was born. It is so cuddly and floppy. He still sleeps with it every night - unless he is invited to a sleepover.

Oh, my yes!!

Grady has quite a few actually. The most special is "Frosty," who is obviously a snowman. He was with a bunch of balloons we received when he was born, and they have been inseperable since.

Lately, he is attached to a beanie horse he has named Roxie. He left it at my mom's and my brother had to bring it home later or there may have been a major meltdown!

Ahhh... so cute! Love the pics!
Calvin has a Curious George that Chris gave him for his 1st Easter. Calvin used to sleep with it and take it everywhere. But, now he doesn't so much - just when he's really tired or sick. However, Calvin still insists that George go with him to his dad's house. It makes me feel better to know that Calvin has something so familiar with him when he sleeps over at his dad's.

Nicks snuggly is his Fish Fish. It is a fish that has squishy balls they make pillows out of. He sleeps with it and carries it around when he wakes up in the morning. It is really cute.

Sounds like Jack is secretly harboring a longing for a baby brother or sister. As I am for him.
