Best of both worlds??

Unless you live in a cave, you have by now heard about the Miley Cyrus picture controversey. I suppose I am just to old to appreciate the awesomeness that is Hannah Montana. Although I will admit to enjoying the mulleted wonder that is her father in the past.
While I enjoy celeb related news MUCH,MUCH more than the average person, for some reason this story just makes me a little angry. A very, very famous photographer/artist (Annie Leibovitz) took some pictures of a young girl in the presence of her parents and all of her business type handlers. None of them had any problem whatsoever with the pictures at the time. Now that the pictures are released to the public to a not so favorable reaction, Hannah/Miley and her "people" are doing some backtracking.
What's the point of all of this?? While channel surfing this evening I saw this story featured on all 3 of the major network newscasts.
Are we not still at war?
Is a new President not about to be elected?
It's crap like this that make me think we may as well pack it up,
because maybe the terrorists have already won.

I agree with you totally. Probably boils down to the press/money. As if she doesn't have enough.
I am also sick of all the Obama bashing.. Like Obama says"Lets talk about what's important"
But no..they gotta drag him thru the mud, and run his pass in the ground. I hope Obama kicks all their butts!! Take that Hilary!!
OK.. I'll stop venting now... HAHA

Whatever. I could talk about controversial photos Miley Cyrus all day. Does anyone not see the real tragedy here? this is proof that Annie Lebowitz CAN take a crappy picture. I think we all know that what Miley and her family are really pissed about is that she looks so crappy in the pic. Kind of scary actually.
Sarah, for your sake I will hope that Britney Spears will do something extra crazy today and divert the media attention back where it belongs.

I agree. Aren't there more important news worthy items than whether a tween star's pictures are priceless works of art or tastless pornography? I mean we are right in the middle of hockey and basketball playoffs and all we can talk about is Miley. C'mon people!

Really, the "controversy" couldn't have come at a better time for her. Instead of talking about the skanky pictures of her flashing her bra, now the media is talking about her Vanity Fair layout.

What really gets me going is that her parents didn't stop some crazy photographer for having their 15 year old child take her clothes off for a publicity stunt!!!

I guess it worked, huh?

Oh, yeah, and AMEN to the KOOL-AID mustasche!!
