FINALLY

Since today is my wedding anniversary it is only fitting that I was able to FINALLY unpack and put away my wedding china. All 10 place settings of my beautiful red fiestaware is unpacked and put into my new kitchen cabinets ready to be used! (ok, I only unpacked 8, I saved 2 place settings for when I inevitably break pieces of the others) I also was able to unpack towels that I had saved for when we had a new home. The luxurious white, thick bath sheets from the Farley family have a new home in my bathroom closet!! I found tons of brand new dish towels. Honestly, I have no clue what I will ever do with them all.

Moving is not fun. Moving while 8 months pregnant is less fun. We are getting it done though.

We celebrated our anniversary with pizza from Joe's and since it was a special occasion, we went a little crazy and got two orders of parmesan breadsticks (Jack usually eats at least three and Cliff and I are lucky to get one)!

The next time we get pizza, I hope to eat it off of our pretty red plates!

We are kind of the same way. Since we just moved in late July, early August. I am finding things that we have not opened or used in two years since we have been married. One of the main things was bath towels. Keep having fun packing and unpacking and moving. I know that it sucks, but it is so nice to get it all in and over with. then you have a new house to come home to every night.

The day we closed on the house we live in now, I went into labor with Parker. 7 years and 4 months ago.

I really didn't do any packing or unpacking. Bruce and our friends did it all.

Bruce left at about 10:00 pm that night to go to Wal-Mart and pick up a few "necessities" like milk, eggs, orange juice, and orange popscicles...haha...craved those!!!

I called him while he was checking out and told him it was TIME. He got home in more than enough time b/c I was in labor for 16 hours!!!

Anyway...maybe now your "nesting" time will begin.

Do you have everything to start putting together the baby's room???

Congrats on the new house. Can't wait to see some pics. I agree about unpacking. When we moved into this house and actually had room it was nice to use some of the wedding gifts that we had gotten instead of looking at them in a box

I LOVE Fiestaware and your red is super-sexy! I have vineyard-inspired multi-colored placesettings myself and they're the best. I even have some of my grandmother's wedding Fiestaware from the late 1960s (2nd marriage) to complement what I have.
