History is today

I wish I could write something prolific about today.
Barack Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States of America.
In a way like we have never seen before, a feeling that I have never felt.
A profound proudness to be an American. A hope for this nation so big that it almost hurts.
A realization that at the end of the day, he is just one man. Change can come, but it's going to take all of us to want to change, to believe that we can change, to believe in hope and to realize that we have to be part of the process and that it may hurt a little bit.
But today, I am just going to celebrate.
Celebrate and hope.
I hope you are watching.
Someday someone is going to ask you where you were when.

and even the black rabbits rejoice

All of us at worked watched the inauguration via streaming video today. I got choked up when they swore him in.
