OUT: Waiting for the movie
One of my favorite series of books is coming to the big screen in February. The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella is chick lit at its best. Easy, fun reads. Do yourself a favor and read the books before you see the movie. As good as any movie can be, it is never better than the book itself. How in the world can they fit an entire book in a two hour movie?

Is it all of the books as a movie? I haven't read the baby one yet. Oooh...that should be a good movie!!
I haven't read this series, but I totally agree, there are very few movies that are nearly as good as the book. You just cannot relay what the characters are thinking like you can in a book.

I LOVED this series of books. I am looking very forward to the movie but I have never seen a movie yet that could put things as vividly as I can in my mind so I'm not setting myself up for disappointment and I believe the way the trailers for the movie looks it has to be a mix of "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic takes Manahattan". And if you haven't read "Remember Me" or "Can You Keep a Secret" both by Sophie Kinsella also, they are great too. In fact I think Secret is my absolute favorite.
