In case you did not see it, my picture was in last Thursday's Newton Press Mentor. I was accepting a check on behalf on the NCHS Athletic Boosters from the Peoples State Bank President-Greg Ikemire. The reason I share this with you is, for me, the picture of me is not half bad. I hate getting my picture taken. I really would rather give blood (or boobs-see Mandy Hood's new blog www.thehoods1.blogspot.com). Normally when I take a picture I end up looking like Eliza Jane Wilder. I try to open my eyes so wide to appear less Asian that my face takes on some sort of harsh pained look.
In the Press picture I look a little less like Eliza Jane and a little more like Miss Beadle.
Lemon Verbena anyone??
