The baby naming brunch

Last Saturday my Mom hosted a little brunch in my and Baby Chuck Chuck's honor. Each guest was given an opportunity to "present" a baby name (s) that they thought I should consider for Chuck Chuck.
THE SPREAD
Rebekah made her baby name presentation.
It came along with a visual aid.
Since the name she (Jeremy) was rooting for was MACK she made a Big Mac cake. It was a good call, food always helps to sway my opinion. I really, really like the name Mack, but Mack and Jack??? Don't think we can go there. It really is to bad, it is a very cool name.
Did she not make the coolest cake??

Isn't it beautiful??

Michelle also had a cake to present. It had nothing to do with a baby name and I promised my Mom and Dad that I would not show what it said on the blog. It really is an inside joke and probably would make no sense to the majority of you, but I laughed so hard I peed my pants.

Michelle also presented me with a pair of zebra pajamas/clown pants.
I know I am fat and pregnant, but these were REALLY big.

The look on my face as the gift from Amber is being brought in.
The girl got me a MACLAREN stroller!!!!!!!!
I love it.
If you have never tried a MACLAREN you don't know what you are missing.
It really is a luxury stroller.
It is now in my living room set up for me to admire.
Jack wanted to take it to church on Sunday.
If we were Catholic I would have let him.
A stroller that nice deserves a blessing from a Priest.

Cliff putting my beloved stroller together.
By the way, maybe MACLAREN was another sign that the baby should be named MACK.

The Mother-to-be with her Mother.
Little Debbie and her girls
My gal pals.
We had a great time.
I love these girls.
Jack came for the cake.

What a fun day for you!!

Good Friends, Good Food, Good Strollers and CAKE...what more could a girl ask for?!?!

That was a really cool cake Rebekah made. Very Original!

Also - I have that exact same stroller for Maddie...since she has outgrown her big one. I love it. And Bruce likes that the handles are tall enough that he doesn't have to bend over to push it.

Me too, Tracie!

Looks like a great time. You did a good job hiding the pee spot...If I had peed my pants, everyone woulda known it.

I know you don't me, but felt it necessary to share my opinion of your awesome cake and really cool stroller! As a suggestion, if you named your baby Maclaren, you wouldn't have to label his stroller with his name? LOL. Just makin a lil joke. Congratulations!

Looks like a great time. I think I do like the name Mack. It would be kind of cute for their names to rhyme...lol

I can't believe the big day is only a week away. I'm so excited for you.

Awesome baby brunch YaYa. Just so you know, in that one picture you do appear to have "grown".
As for the cake, it really was a masterpeiece. Rebekah's too of course. I should have known when the IGA ladies called @ 7:30 Saturday am to make SURE that was really what I wanted on the cake, we had a hit on our hands!
Courtney, I too have a serious case of stroller envy. It took everything I had not to come immediately home and order a Mac of my own. I simply haven;t found a reason to justify a 4th stroller. Yet.
