Friday night was Jack's birthday party. This year we had a party with some of his friends: Eliza, Lily, and Gus Bierman. Heidi and RJ Lindemann, Olivia and Isaac Flowers. Jessilynn Hall, Cooper Gosnell, and Emily Baltzell were all in attendance as well as some of his Grandparents, adult friends, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

It was interesting to say the least. Musical chairs was the first game on the line-up. I think 8 of the 11 kids in attendance played. I think 5 of those eight kids ended up crying.

Jack had a little problem after a balloon popped right by his ear and scared him pretty badly. He ended up missing the majority of his party.

In the end I think every one had a pretty good time. Jack included. His little friends were all so good, and very sweet. I am sure we will give it another try next year. Probably without musical chairs. Who knew that game could be so traumatic?!

Cooper-I think he really would like a 4-wheeler like this one that Emily gave Jack! (hint hint Santa)

you left out emily peeing her pants, was this not a highlight. For me, it was a definite lowlight. just to let you know, she peed in her pants for the next few days, and kept saying "its okay mama, everyone makes mistakes sometimes" Thanks for the great time, cant wait till next year.
ps. Jill, thanks for the outfit, emily wanted to sleep in it.

Jamee,
Don't worry about it. After what seemed to be a disaster of a night, it really was a tension reliever for me.

Jack peed his pants on Christmas day in Rebekah and Jeremy's closet while they were playing hide and go seek.

He also did again last night.

Uggh!

It is ok, Emily is right, everyone does make mistakes sometimes.

I think you and I both do not want to start buying diapers for our three year olds though!
