So, yesterday Jack got a drum. I know, I know, I am crazy. First the horn then the whistle, now a drum! Yesterday morning we went to Dollar General and Jack saw this drum and just had to have it. Shockingly I told him no. He wanted it so bad that I told him he could buy it with his own money. So, we went home and got the three dollars (pricey) out of his piggy bank and went back later and he bought the drum. He was very proud of it and as the following pics prove, he really likes the drum.
Cliff fashioned him a strap so he could wear it around his neck.

The things we do for our kids...that drive us nuts. Jack looks like a very talented musician preparing for his days as a member of the Newton Marching Eagles.
