I definitely think she needed a new look, but this is extreme, thus making it look all the faker. Just my opinion... I'm sure she has a stylist to tell her these things. :)

I prefer old Kate. She looks to me like she has a bad weave. I say thumbs down.
After seeing this I had to go buy the magazine to get a close up look up the "new do." I must say, I LIKE IT! Maybe a little shorter would have been better, but hey she needed a new look right?

It looks like they clipped some of those fake extensions on in the back and you can still see all of her short layers. Very bad. It doesn't even blend.
Also, why does People keep running her on the cover? She is a nobody that has done nothing. Why do we care? Urghh...I'm sick of hearing about her!
I thought this would end up in Us magazine this week as a bad photoshop session...kinda like Demi or that Harry Potter girl. But not, it was obviously on purpose and she was okay with it.
