Way to go Caleb!!

The Washington University Bears bball team won the
NCAA Division III championship this afternoon.

Caleb Knepper (my first cousin) is a freshman at Washington University and member of the basketball team.

Do you hear what I hear?

New addition to the blog-MUSIC! I am super excited that thanks to Tracie Crain and her super bloggerific powers, I was able to add music to my blog. So, turn your speakers up and enjoy as you peruse the blog.

HAPPY EASTER

Jack before school one day a couple of weeks ago.

I think he thought we were on our way to a soccer match

For the first day of Spring

The Beatles
"Here Comes the Sun"

Jack loves this song and I am pretty proud of him for having such great taste in music.

I can't think of any way better to celebrate the first day of Spring.

......and I say it's all right

Random pics from the Farley Euchre tournament

A fun time was had by all at the annual Farley Euchre tournament

held Feb 9th at the home of Chad and Holly.

Shout out to my partner Melanie Herndon.

It seems like the yearly euchre tournament is the only

time I get to see David and Melanie, I wish it was more.

Ted and Ron
Colleen, now Mrs. Swick

I don't remember what was going on when I took these pictures of Amanda,

but I find them to be highly enjoyable.

The final game.

Chad & Chalen vs. Jamee and Will

The fact that Will Fritchley made it to the final game of

the Euchre tournament is a pretty big deal.

Not that he is not a good card player, but he is not a good card player.

Chad and Chalen were victorious.

And, like poor little Emily Baltzell, Jack too was forced to sleeping in a box after his mother did not bring home the bacon from the tourney.

American Idol pool standings

After two weeks, Tracie Crain is in the lead. I think just about everybody got it wrong this week. I don't think anyone expected Karly to be in the bottom three and I hope it does not happen again! Next week I will have to start voting.

Way to go Tracie!

Tracie and Ryan Martin were the only ones who called it right predicting that Amanda Overmeyer would go home.

Let me go off subject here a bit and say something about Tracie Crain. In case you don't know her, Tracie is the former Tracie Painter of Newton. She now makes her home in Louisiana. I don't think I ever really knew Tracie when she lived in Newton, she is my sister Rebekah's age and I doubt if I did know her when she lived here if she is really the same person.

If it is at all possible to get to know someone through their blog, that is how I feel like I know Tracie, and I like what I see. A wonderful mother, business owner, and Christian woman. Hopefully she won't mind me sharing this with my readers, but if you get some time, visit her blog http://www.coffeewiththecrains.blogspot.com/ it's so nice to see a local girl doing so well for herself.
