Jack got a backpack for preschool!! We found this little stunner at Gap Kids while doing some shopping in Evansville after our trip to the zoo on Friday.

Jack thinks it is pretty neat and so do I.

And now to find the perfect first day outfit!!

Insurance headache

If you can keep from it at all, don't ever let your spouse hit a horse with their car.

Dealing with the insurance headaches that follow is a pain that I only wish on people I really don't like.

Go Dale Go!

Meet Dale Bierman. IF you don't already know Dale, he is someone you want to meet. Just looking at Dale puts a smile on my face.

Dale is 5 years old. Last year he was in Jack's Level One swim class at the Newton Pool. He decided the first night that it was not for him. No way, not doing it.

This year, he gave it another try.

This picture is of Dale on his first night of Level One lessons. He jumped off the high dive!!! What a difference a year makes!

Now that's a tan line!

Jack has gotten so dark this summer!!

Since all of his swim trunks are pretty much knee length (manpris), he is white from his butt down to his knees.

Another cooking/eating tip from Sarah Sez

When finding a place to stash the box of chocolate covered mints that you purchased for yourself in case of emergency, the cabinet above the stove may not be such a good idea.

Said emergency could arise and one could find them self eating the minty chocolaty goodness off of a plastic package/cardboard box.

Last Saturday Jack and I attended the wedding of my first cousin Heather at the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp in Flora

It was hot, but luckily short and VERY nice!

Even Cliff, who is usually not a huge fan of some of the clothes I put Jack in, told Jack before we left that if he did not pick up a woman at this wedding, something was wrong!
