Released!

Britney was released from the hospital after 24 hours of being locked up for mental evaluation. It was supposed to be at least 72 hours.
DR.Phil came to visit with Britney right before her release
and walked her to her car.
Britney is WAY past Dr.Phil. Only Oprah can save her now.

Oh Britney....

What a mess and what a downer after the high of last nights Obama win. Well, back to the real world.

Here is Britney being hauled off to the looney bin last night.

In case you've been sleeping…

This is what Perez had to say:

Britney Spears held her kids hostage on Thursday night. Cops had to be called to her home after she refused to turn over custody of her children to Kevin Federline's bodyguard, as she was required to do.
Sean Preston and Jayden James are now in the safe and better hands of their father and Britney was rushed to the emergency room for psychiatric evaluation and because police observed her to be under the influence of some unknown substance.

"The stress and mental anguish of the ongoing custody battle and deposition has caused Spears to 'lose a tremendous amount of weight in the past several weeks.'"

My thoughts:

Does she look like she has lost weight? I don't see it.

K-fed was at the hospital visiting Britney last night. I will probably see him at church on Sunday.

I'm an OBAMA MAMA!!!!

"Years from now, you'll look back and say that this was the moment-this was the place-where America remembered what it means to hope."

This was just ONE of my favorites quotes from Barack Obama's victory speech last night after he was declared the winner of the Iowa Caucus. If you did not watch the speech I have posted a portion of it and I encourage you to watch it, I don't think that it will disappoint.

Election Poll

In the spirit of today's Iowa Caucus I have created a poll to ask Sarah Sez readers who they would vote for on the Democrat side for President.

Don't worry, I'll do one soon with the Republican candidates as well.

It's just for fun! I'll let you know the results when the poll ends in a few days.

Godspeed Iowans

Tomorrow it officially begins with the Iowa Caucus.
We are electing a new President!
I love politics. I will watch the returns from the upcoming primaries like many people watch the Superbowl.
I love voting and everything about the process. I remember being forced by my parents to watch the Democrat Convention on TV when we were little. The summer after I graduated from high school I went with Jenny Jackson to Vandalia to see Bill Clinton at one of his campaign stops. I remember the first time I was able to vote, I was so proud and excited to place my vote for William Jefferson Clinton. I am still happy that I voted for him and I have not missed one opportunity to vote in an election be it big or small ever since.
This year it really is different. I truly believe that this is one of- if not the most important elections of my lifetime. Our country is in trouble. We have dug ourselves into such a deep hole that I wonder if any of the candidates (on either side) will come into office equipped with a shovel big enough to dig us out of the mess we are in. But hope remains. Hope remains that a change is going to come. Tomorrow the first step in that process starts in Iowa. Tomorrow will be the only day that I will wish that I was a resident of Iowa. What an awesome responsibility they have been given. What an awesome responsibility we as Americans have been given.
It is time to clean up the mess.

Roller Skates

Jack got these roller skates/roller blades for Christmas from Bubba and Jeremy and their family. I think they are (at least for the past few days) his favorite Christmas gift!

Website of the day

Spitfiregirl is a website full of cute stuff.
Check it out if for nothing else but these fabulous bacon band-aids! They are so cool. I want to order them and then get a scratch just so I can wear one!

These Sob Story hankies come with an envelope and are ready for mailing. What a great little something to send to one of your "Drama Queen" friends (like me!).
