BIG GAME

The countdown has begun. Less than 14 hours from now the Eagles take on the Effingham Hearts. The entire town is buzzing with anticipation of this game. Newton has beat Effingham the last five times they have played (regular and playoff games).

I'll be there. Will you????

Sleeping Angels

Cooper and Jack layed down together to take a nap after lunch today. I thought wow, this is going to be great, a chance to get some real work (blogging) done.

This "nap" lasted all of five minutes. At least I got some cute pictures out of the deal.

Giving credt where credit is due

I looked at my counter tonight. It tracks how many visits the blog gets. I have had the counter up for a week and one day and I have had almost 1500 visits. Wow! I am amazed and to be totally honest, loving it. I have to give the credit to my sister Rebekah Gosnell for starting the "blogging revolution". Thanks Rebekah! If you are not checking out Rebekah's blog-YOU NEED TO-you won't be sorry!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
Roy and Yvonne Will

Fun-Diel style

Last night the Diel Family had a wiener roast at Lowell's (the deer cabin) pond. A lot of fish were caught, wieners ate, and trips to the new bathroom made. The pond gets nicer every time we go. There is always something new-this time a bathroom with a shower in the shed! Jordan, Jenna, and Eliza tried out the shower. It worked very nicely thank you very much!
Gabe and Bamp doing some fishing.
Gus and Ben Bierman.

Hadley Zumbahlen with Uncle Bruce.

Gabe with just one of the many fish he caught.

A new member of the family?? A distant cousin perhaps?

No one ever accused the Diels of being politically correct.

Jack went fishing for the first time. We got him a new fishing pole (or fishin' rod as he calls it) yesterday afternoon and he was very excited to try it out.

Fishing with Daddy.

Jack caught a fish! His first fish! He did not want to touch it so Jeremy held it for me to take a picture as Cooper fishes on.

Kaitlin Diel with little Jeremy. Kaitlin was the hit of the night with all of the young Diels!!

Gabe and Ronnie Diel roasting some wieners.

Gus Bierman and Hadley Zumbahlen. They both just turned two!

Jack and Cooper relieving themselves.

Michelle with her fish. Ask her about. I am sure there is some sort of an interesting story that goes along with this fish.

I did not get a chance to post the 3 week mark yesterday. So in 2 weeks and 6 days we leave for Disney World! The night of our arrival we have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's. We get to eat with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto to name a few.

I am not sure who this guy is, but found a picture of him with Donald at Chef Mickey's and I thought he was pretty cute.

Newton 35 Olney 7

Another Friday night and another Eagle win.

Shelby (or Shelvy as Gabe calls her) Wolf and her adorable nephew Drew. Shelby made the shirts that she and Drew are wearing!

Shelby needs to go into business making those shirts. They are so cool. Who dosn't want a Newton Eagle shirt with silver sequins-FANCY! Drew did not want to cooperate so you can't see the front of his shirt. You can tell who he is rooting for and he sure is cute!

Michelle's knee. She was trying to get a picture of the male flagboy (not that there is anything wrong with that)from Olney. Sorry I didn't get the picture. You will just have to believe me that he was there.

Check out these "Jersey Girls"!
