When finding a place to stash the box of chocolate covered mints that you purchased for yourself in case of emergency, the cabinet above the stove may not be such a good idea.
Said emergency could arise and one could find them self eating the minty chocolaty goodness off of a plastic package/cardboard box.

I would probably find a step stool and make sure there was none to lick out of the bottom of the cabinet!
