Bunk beds!!
Jack got new bunk beds! Since Amanda and Jeff Zumbahlen have moved into their beautiful new home, they had an extra set of beds that they no longer needed. Jack has wanted "ladder beds" for some time now and since the price was right (free) we decided to get them.
Jack likes them a lot. He has slept half of a night in the bottom bunk by himself-which is pretty good for him.
He sure likes climbing around on them and setting on his top bunk and watching movies.

Thanks Zumbahlens!

Unforgivable Woman

A few weeks before Christmas I was shopping in Champaign with Michelle and Jill. We were in the mall when my cell phone rang. It was my Mom calling me from Springfield, Christmas shopping with my Dad. She wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas. Since I was fairly certain she was not going to buy me the minivan with the satellite TV, I really could not think of anything to tell her. We had just come from Macy's where I had just tried the new Sean John/Diddy/P.Diddy perfume-UNFORGIVABLE WOMAN-so I told her that is what I wanted.
On Christmas Eve I opened a beautiful boxed set of the perfume along with three Sean John lip glosses.
I love this perfume. It makes me smell like the strong black woman that I know that I am.
Forever LOST
Thanks to my sister Michelle, my friend Kelley Leffler and a little help from Netflix, I have become hopelessly addicted!
This is not the type of show I would usually watch, but I am so glad I gave it a try. I have watched seasons 1 & 2 and have about 31 days to finish season 3.
So if you are a fan of LOST give me a couple of weeks and we can discuss what we think will happen in the upcoming season.
Until then please don't spoil it for me!

I love Netflix. For a set price of $16.99 per month you can get 3 movies sent to you by mail. Once you watch the movie, you just return it in the postage paid envelope provided by Netflix and they will send you the next movie on your list. There is no limit to the number of movies you can get in one month or the amount of time you can keep the movies.
I signed up before last years season premier of 'Nip Tuck' so I could catch up on everything I had missed in previous seasons. I thought I would just do it for one month. Over one year later I am still watching the mail to see if that little red envelope came!
For a free two week trial enter code: Friend23 at checkout.
He's with the band
Bubba, Jeremy, Payton, Dawson, Keely, and Cooper gave Jack a drum set for his birthday. It is super cute and somewhat annoying (Cliff says just wait until the next birthday of one of your kids). Cooper came over the other day to play with Jack and they jammed a little.

A little friendly competition between sisters
My sisters (Michelle and Rebekah) and myself had a little competition this Holiday Season. Each year we ask each other "how many Christmas cards did you get?" This year we made a contest out of it. We reported our final numbers on Christmas day and Michelle was the winner. I think the system may be flawed. I bet they got a lot of cards from people who want to see their kid get some playing time on Chivesky field next season! Anyhoo, congrats Michelle.

PEACE and Rosie O'Donnell love from Coach Fulton

Me and my sisters Michelle and Rebekah along with our husbands exchange names at Christmas. Jason got my name. I was shocked to open up this PEACE t-shirt from Jason! He knows me so well. I love Rosie (I know I am in the minority) and I have wanted one of these shirts for a very long time. Who knew Jason was also a fan and a visitor to her website like me? What is even better is the proceeds from any purchases made from rosie.com go to support her 4 all kids charities.
Thanks Jason. I am waiting for a special occasion to wear my shirt.
I know the term gets thrown around a lot but to me this really was a

Friday night was Jack's birthday party. This year we had a party with some of his friends: Eliza, Lily, and Gus Bierman. Heidi and RJ Lindemann, Olivia and Isaac Flowers. Jessilynn Hall, Cooper Gosnell, and Emily Baltzell were all in attendance as well as some of his Grandparents, adult friends, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
It was interesting to say the least. Musical chairs was the first game on the line-up. I think 8 of the 11 kids in attendance played. I think 5 of those eight kids ended up crying.
Jack had a little problem after a balloon popped right by his ear and scared him pretty badly. He ended up missing the majority of his party.
In the end I think every one had a pretty good time. Jack included. His little friends were all so good, and very sweet. I am sure we will give it another try next year. Probably without musical chairs. Who knew that game could be so traumatic?!

Baby Luke Farley
I watched Baby Luke Farley for a little while this morning while his Mom and Dad attended Ross Farley's Pre-K Christmas program. He was so sweet and good, he slept the entire time he was here. Jack liked him a lot and when Holly came to pick him up Jack wanted her to leave and let Baby Luke stay with us!
