2 Diel Girls and their sons tackle Disney part 1

The day we had waited for was finally here. We were already on a high after the Newton victory the night before. So long Newton-Disney World here we come!!

Cliff took us to the airport in Indianapolis. Somehow he got all of our luggage loaded in Jason's van.

The escalator proved to be one of Jack's favorite rides the entire trip. I had received numerous e-mails about the dangers of Crocs on escalators. Somehow we came back with all of our toes!

Look at me walking on the wild side Bamp!

Jack and Gabe watching our plane come in.

Here we are on the plane. Everything went really well. Jack did great on the flight. We actually arrived to the airport in Florida early......then we sat there and sat there on the runway for what seemed like forever. I got a little scared that we were going to be like those people you see on the news that somehow get stuck on a plane for hours and the toilets overflow. I kept telling Michelle that urine was running down the aisle (it was not). We both got to laughing so hard that I think urine was running down our legs (not a huge surprise). Finally after hours (more like 15 minutes) we got off the plane.
Of course I had to know if he had driven any celebs. And, yes he had. J-Lo (who he said is just a normal person) and lots of others including members of the Orlando Magic, but not Shaq. He did not have any inside scoop on Shaq's divorce(if you do, e-mail me!).

Back to Reality
We're home! It was a great time. I have tons of pictures to share and will be doing that in the next few days.
I had been home for less than a half hour and had already broken two bowls and cut my finger cleaning up the glass. Reality check!

SO LONG!!
Eagles win.
47-8
Clock runs in the second half.
Maybe the coach thought we needed to go to bed early?
Watching Gabe, Dawson, Cole and Ross Farley run throught the paper with the team tonight was priceless. I will try and post some pics.
I will be back on Thursday night and promise lots of updates.
If you watch Rock of Love, don't tell me who wins. It's VH1, surely they will play it again.

2 Days to go!!
Two days to go. Today the $200 Wal-Mart trip. You know the ones. You go thinking you will only spend $50.00 yet, somehow you end up spending way more than that.
Jack has told me a couple of times that he does not want to go to Disney World, because he does not want to ride Dumbo. I just tell him-too bad, you are going to Disney World and you are going to like it!

3 days to go

3 days to go. I should be counting down hours instead of days at this point! Tonight is the last night at home as a family. Cliff has school on Thursday night and I have to (get to!) go to the game on Friday. So, we will hang out this evening and enjoy the homemade chicken pot pie I am making. Tomorrow I am guessing will be the day that I start to freak out.

As we prepare for our trip, one of my favorite "Deep Thoughts" came to mind
And now..... Deep Thoughts
by Jack Handy
"One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late."
